summer solstice 09

Summer Solstice 09 amazing, inspirational and educational weekend training for transition. Thanks to all the organisers esp. Alex and Ennistymon transition initiative. The group energy was fantastic and the food wasnt too bad either ha ha xx blessings to all who were there and to all who have yet to experience the experience.



I would like to recommend for future training that facilities be made available for children ( which i would gladly be a volunteer).

Successful launch of Transition East Clare initiative

The first 'get-together' of Transition East Clare attracted a small but passionate group including local historian Michael O'Gorman representing Scariff Community Council, Anna and Jim from Mountshannon representing a new LETS initiative and a variety of people from local education, farming and other backgrounds who had heard about transition initiatives and wanted to find out more.
