Some men in Wicklow have recently come together to see if they can start a Men's Shed.  Its only in the initial stages, and anyone in the Wicklow region is more than welcome to come along.  Men's sheds are a social outlet for men who have found themselves with time on their hands, either through unemployment or retirement, and who would like to either learn new skills or share their skills with other men, or teach younger men some of the traditional skills which have been lost in the 'Ikea' culture! There are now 40+ Men's Sheds throughout the country and this movement is growing rapidly.  To learn more about Men's Sheds, go to
